Sustainable and energy independent communities aim to move to a sustainable and energy independent system based on local bio resources; from linear to circular economy; from fossil fuels to renewable resources, especially biomass and especially in rural areas. The sustainable community can contribute to the sustainable development of less developed regions such as rural, mountainous regions, such as the Targu Secuiesc area.
