The portrait series provides a novel and representative insight into fascinating working worlds by compiling outstanding protagonists.The bio-pioneers is a project where pioneers in the field of bio-based and sustainable business present their work, for example, as farmers, researchers, engineers, designers in the life sciences, food, building materials or fashion industries. The bio-pioneers have made groundbreaking achievements in their fields, or are in the process of doing so. They are witnesses to a process of rethinking. The Biopioneers vision new bio-based products just as much as they demand behavioural changes on the part of consumers. They put their creativity and social commitment at the service of circular thinking.
