Title: Diversification of the impact of the bioeconomy on strategic documents of the forestry-wood sector as a basis for state administration and the design of strategic goals by 2030

Funding source: National Agricultural Research Agency / Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic

Implementation period: 2019 - 2021

Country: Czech Republic

Stakeholders involved: Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, University of South Bohemia

Description:

The main objective of the project is to assess the wider strategic context of forest bio-economics and to formulate strategic objectives and recommendations in the conditions of the Czech Republic. The proposed strategic objectives and recommendations of the strategy are based primarily on the results of scientific research and on the views, recommendations and experiences within the European Union and the Czech Republic. The targets are formulated by 2030.

Results:

It is assumed that the result of the project will be used for the performance of state administration/municipality. Sub-parts of the presented concept can be used in further education or research, but they can also serve as stimuli for improvement in the activities of ministries. However, due to the complexity and extensiveness of the developed concept the decision on the application of the concept is under the responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture.
